Ludus in Tabula APS, in collaborazione con Lucca Collezionando, con il supporto della Federazione Italiana Wargame e con il patrocinio di Ares Games e BlacKnight Editions, ha il piacere di presentare “Wings of Lucca 2 – 2025”, il primo appuntamento dell’edizione 2025 del “Wings of Glory European Master”, dopo il successo della prima edizione di Wings of Lucca del 2024.

Wings of Glory nasce nel 2004 con lo scopo di realizzare un wargame aereo semplice, mirato al divertimento, che potesse coinvolgere con facilità anche molti giocatori allo stesso tavolo. L’idea è quella di dare a ciascun giocatore una o più modellini di aerei da far “volare” sul tavolo, programmandone il movimento tramite una serie di carte-manovra scelte di volta in volta da un apposito mazzo.

Il gioco ha avuto una espansione mondiale, tradotto in più di 20 lingue, conta molte comunità di giocatori in tutto il globo. La più vivace è “The Aerodrome”, i cui oltre seimila appassionati organizzano periodici raduni a Praga, Doncaster (Inghilterra) e in vari punti degli Stati Uniti ove propongono scenari e varianti di loro ideazione.
L’European Master è una formula oramai consolidata, partita nel 2022 a Roma e replicata nello stesso anno alla Convention Europea di Wings of Glory di Praga.
Il circuito oggi include quattro eventi rispettivamente in Lucca (IT), Praga (CZ), Roma (IT), Doncaster (UK) e accoglie giocatori che convergono da tutta Europa per sfidarsi in duelli aerei della Grande Guerra.
Ogni evento produce una propria classifica con premiazione per i primi tre piloti e i punteggi dei singoli giocatori vengono poi consolidati in un’unica classifica europea per determinare i migliori piloti dell’edizione.

WINGS OF LUCCA – ENGLISH VERSION
Ludus in Tabula APS, in collaboration with Lucca Collezionando, with the support of the Italian Wargame Federation, and with the patronage of Ares Games and BlacKnight Editions, is pleased to announce the first date of the 2025 edition of “Wings of Glory European Master”. The event will take place at the Lucca Collezionando Festival on Sunday the 23th of March, 2025.
- Where: as part of the Lucca Collezionando festival, within the festival area.
- When: Sunday, March 23, 2025, from 10:00 until 17:30 approximatively.

- Available players: up to 36, make sure to register as soon as possible by using the form below. Send the form to Ludus in Tabula APS as instructed below.

Wings of Glory was born in 2004 with the aim of creating a simple aviation wargame; seeking to create a form of entertainment that could easily bring together multiple players at the same table. The premise is to give each player one or more model aeroplanes to ‘fly’ on the tabletop; planning their movements through the use of manoeuvre cards that are picked from a specific deck.
The game has expanded globally, having been translated into more than 20 languages, and can count numerous communities of players across the globe. The most active of these is “The Aerodrome”, whose more than six thousand passionate members organise meets in Prague (CZ), Doncaster (UK), and across the USA. At these meets they put forward scenarios and adaptations of their own design.
The European Master is by now an established format; starting in 2022 in Rome and then continuing at the European Convention for Wings of Glory in Prague the same year. The tournament circuit includes four events: Lucca (IT), Prague (CZ), Rome (IT), and Doncaster (UK; which welcome players from all across Europe who come together to challenge each other to World War One style dogfights.

Each event results in its own rank classification and awards for the top three pilots. These event rankings are then consolidated into an annual European classification to determine the best pilots for each edition.
